I took this photo on a field trip with my natural world class to Indian Creek in Potsdam NY. On this field trip we were supposed to observe nature for an hour and then write about what we saw. As I was sitting looking at the river I notice a copious amounts of bugs crawling towards me. They were all coming from the river bank which tells me that a lot of them probably just hatched and they are all coming into land now. These are some of the first bugs of the season and when I saw them there was about a foot of snow on the ground.
