Decidous hardwood forest and river habitat
Colton New York is one of many locations that the raquette river is dammed at. The area is fairly rural and is on the outskirts of the adirondack park. The area is heavily wooded in town and is the beginning of the park so it only gets less suburbanized. The river is quite beautiful with the trails that run along it into the forest. The picture during winter you would expect mold to be crystalized though its not and its not covered in snow. The picture looks cool with the fading of definition of the tree. It like the mold is current and the life of the tree is fading like the definition of the photo.
