A New Way to View White Pines

Here is a picture of a view of white pines from below on the Kip Tract. I recently learned that you can make tea from white pine needles that are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, especially good for cold season! This came at a good timing because I had a cold! After learning this, I ventured into the trails and collected a bundle of fresh white pine needles to bring home, chop up, and make tea with! If you are looking to gather some needles, one way you can make sure that it is a white pine, and not another kind of pine like the red pine, is that the white pine has 5 needles in each bundle of needles, while the red pine has only 2 needles in each bundle! Happy tea hunting!
