Canoeing in the Adirondacks with Erika

This was a gorgeous day to be out on the water!

1) This is 3 month old Gus, who ate pine cones while we ate lunch; he sees everything outside as a new toy! He loved swimming and did great for his first trip in a canoe. 2) This loon we spotted is likely sitting on a nest! It was so very still and we were really surprised by how big it was! The plumage was stunning! 3) Here we are at our lunch spot - it was perfect for tossing the ball for Tulip and Gus, and that log Erika is sitting on was our resting place. She was a wonderful host on my tour into Fish Creek! 4) This is Tulip and Gus, covered in soft pine needles, dripping with pond water. Happy dogs. A perfect day on the water!
