Great Blue Heron fishing on the Deer River Flow

Last Friday was possibly my last kayaking adventure for this year. My cousin and I put in on the Deer River Flow off of Route 30 and paddled for 5 hours. We reached Horseshoe Pond and on the return trip encountered 3 Great Blue Heron. I floated near the put in and watched this heron fishing. It was so focused it didn't seem to mind that I was fairly near taking its picture.

Wow! Gorgeous shot. Would you mind double checking the location? It looks like you tagged the encounter to the map in Watertown.
