NY People's Climate March in Potsdam

Event date and time
April 29, 2017 - 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Help us PROTECT WHAT WE LOVE. Those of us in New York know how precious our Adirondacks and natural world are. Come and take a stand to protect and speak up for all that you love against the darkness. There will be artwork, music, singing, action tables, and marching for all that we care about. You are invited to come with a representation of what you love: Come dressed as a hiker, gardener, or w/snowshoes sticking out of your backpack. Come in a costume or with a stuffed animal or puppet. Bring a poster of what you want to protect. Creativity encouraged!

Leave as part of a new network of activists deeply committed to protecting the future and our planet; leave linked and working together with others from Plattsburgh, Lake Placid, Potsdam, Clifton-Fine, Watertown, and all the way to Syracuse and Glens Falls to make a difference.

Chairs will be provided for those who find standing and marching challenging.

Join us on April 29th at 1 pm at Ives Park in Potsdam, NY near the bridge. Let's march and sing together. Bring signs showing what you want protected. Contact Ginger at northcountry350@gmail.com for more information.

Carpooling from the Brewer Bookstore at 12:15. Show up if you want a ride!
