Summer Solstice Hike up Coney Mt.

Come celebrate the longest day of the summer sun with Nature Up North as we hike up Coney Mountain for sunset! Located just south of Tupper Lake, Coney Mountain is a short 1 mile ascent with a just a very few sections of steep terrain. We'll watch the sun set from the top as we enjoy 360 views of the Adirondacks to the East and Tupper Lake to the North. Please RSVP if you plan on attending, as our group size is limited. Transportation is available from Canton, please contact us at natureupnorth@gmail.com if you would like to ride with us. We'll plan to meet at the Brewer Bookstore located at 92 Park Street in Canton at 6:15pm on June 20th. If you are driving yourself, plan on meeting at the Coney Mountain trailhead at 7:30. - - The Coney Mountain trailhead is located approx. 10 miles South of Tupper Lake following Route 30 South. Look for the trailhead sign on the left about 3 miles after the junction with Route 421.

Please wear closed toed shoes and clothing comfortable for hiking. Bring water, a headlamps or flashlight, and bug spray if desired.
