Invertebrate Day at Jacques Cartier!

Event date and time
July 14, 2013 - 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Join us for a day of creepy crawlers! Small invertebrate larvae are excellent indicators of water quality. We will be searching streams for the larva of dragonflies, mayflies, beetles and water pennies! Using what we find we will be able to draw conclusions about the water in a few different streams. This program is for explorers of all ages and is great for young ones looking to get down and dirty with some cool water bugs!
