On Saturday April 6th Nature Up North had its first official outing! A group of 15 students from St. Lawrence University traveled to the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm for a maple sugaring tour and tasting. It was a beautiful spring-like day and much fun was had by all as we romped through woods, tasted sap straight from the tree, and did our fair share of work emptying bags and buckets overflowing with sap!
