Nature Up North is excited to announce the 6th Annual Winterfest Cardboard Sled Races!
The weather may have stopped last year's competition, but we're excited to be bringing back the Cardboard Sled Races for a seventh year! Join us for a morning of sledding at the SUNY Canton Sledding Hill on sleds you create yourself from cardboard. Teams or individuals are invited to enter, and each sled must carry one team member. The race will be on Saturday, February 8th with registration from 10:00 - 10:30. At 10:30 will be the "parade of sleds" and sled judging, with the races beginning immediately thereafter. Sleds will be judged overall, for special categories, and by division for the fastest time!
Not sure how to build a cardboard sled? Stop by one of our sled-building workshops (dates and times TBD). We'll teach you everything you need to know and provide any materials you don't bring yourself!
