Join Nature Up North and SLC Arts in Heritage Park for an afternoon of pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, nature, and learning! Thanks to a generous donation from Grasse River Heritage, the first 20 groups will receive a free pumpkin to carve or paint!
On Sunday, October 27th, we're hosting an event in Heritage Park, Canton, where you can bring a pumpkin to carve or paint, and we'll take the guts away to compost! Once you've carved or painted your pumpkin, put it along the trail in the park for the community to enjoy. There will be judging by local artists and prizes for the winners! Pick up your pumpkin between 7-7:30 to take it home and show it off for Halloween too!
While you're in the park, stop by one of the table's we'll have set up to learn about sustainable farming at home, local composting services, alternatives to single use plastic candy wrappers, or grab a bingo card and see if you can find everything in the park!
