The Saint Lawrence County Mountain Bike Association is hosting a trail work day at Downerville State Forest, on Saturday, October 18, 2014, starting at 10:00am. The trail work will focus on the "River Trail" which leads from the river crossing at the kiosk/parking area to Harper Falls.
Anyone interested in participating should meet at the kiosk/parking area at 10:00am. Bring water, snacks, sturdy foot ware, and a smile no frowns are allowed. Tools will be provided. Directions to Downerville State Forest: Take CR 24 towards Russell. Turn left onto the Downerville Road next to the St Lawrence Co. Highway dept. substation. Travel 1.7miles and turn right onto NYS DEC access road which will lead to the parking area.
