North Country explorer from Plainfield, Vermont
Nature Up North and friends spent the morning pulling garlic mustard, an invasive herb, from one of the many spots it's growing in Canton. Next, we packed it up and headed back to the TAUNY kitchen to make our own pesto from the harvest! We caught the garlic mustard at the perfect time, just as it was beginning to bloom. The white flowers make it easier to identify, but it's crucial to catch it before it goes to seed. Thanks to TAUNY and everyone who came out to help!
