An abundance of birds live on and around the many streams and rivers of the North Country. Everything from songbirds to wading birds to waterfowl to birds of prey can be spotted from the comfort of a canoe.
Join us for the final installment of our community paddle series to learn about the birds that take advantage of our rivers, and to spot and identify the birds of the Little and Grasse Rivers.
This event is free and open to all ages. Canoes, paddles, and adult life jackets are provided, but please bring youth life jackets. We'll also provide binoculars! All kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Space is limited, so please RSVP by emailing info@natureupnorth.org. Please specify name, group size and canoe/kayak preference. Meet at the Little River Boat Launch in Park Street/Rt. 27 in Canton at 6:30 PM.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and bug spray. We can’t wait to see you there!
