First Hike of 2025 - Rainbow Falls!

Event date and time
January 11, 2025 - 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Join Nature Up North for our first hike of the year!

On Saturday, January 11th, we'll be hiking to Rainbow Falls on the Tooley Pond Rd. outside of Degrasse. This short .5 mile round-trip hike features one of the most spectacular waterfalls in St. Lawrence County. While only 25 feet tall, the falls sits within a narrow basin creating almost perpetual rainbows as the water cascades over the edge, giving the waterfall its iconic name. To learn more about the trail and trailhead location, visit the following link to the stlctrails website: https://www.stlctrails.com/trails/trail/rainbow-falls

Rainbow Falls is beautiful in the winter, and we plan to walk or snowshow depending on conditions. Please register using the form linked below. This will let us communicate ahead of the event if weather or other conditions interfere. https://www.natureupnorth.org/form/rainbow-falls-hike-jan-11th-2025
