SLELO PRISM

The St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management, also known as the SLELO PRISM is one of 8 PRISM’s in NYS with a region encompassing Oneida, Oswego, and Lewis, Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.

PRISM’s are a collaborative effort between numerous principal and cooperating partners throughout the state. Some of these partners include but are not limited to: Ducks Unlimited, New York Sea Grant, NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation and the Cornell Cooperative Extension.

The PRISM network is focused on preventing the introduction and spread of invasive species through early detection and rapid response efforts; we also promote cooperation, information management, control and restoration strategies and education and outreach initiatives.
