Baby Woodpecker

Yesterday, our cat caught a baby woodpecker. We took it away from her as fast as possible, but sadly, it died after a few minutes. In the North Country, we see downy and hairy woodpeckers. When the bird is this young, it is hard to tell the difference between them.
