North Country explorer from Canton, NY
Yesterday as I was walking along the Remington Trail, a group of about 100 - 150 snow geese flew right over my head, about 100 feet off the ground. Watching and listening to them fly was absolutely mesmerizing. They have white bodies with black wing tips, and their "honk" is a bit fainter and shorter than a canada goose. Very beautiful! We just get to see them in the spring and fall migrations - and it is always a treat.
