Loon Story Hour
Bring kids in to the Adirondack Loon Center to listen to loon stories and participate in a loon-inspired art activity. No registration is necessary at this family-friendly event. We hope to see you there!
Another Light Lesson in Loon Music
On Thursday, December 9 at 7:00pm (ET), join Dr. Jay Mager, of Ohio Northern University, for an intriguing evening to learn about loon music and the acoustic structure and function of vocal signals in Common Loons.

The Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation invites one and all to celebrate Common Loons, the fascinating icon of the Adirondack, at the Paul Smith’s College VIC (8023 NYS Rte. 30) from 1-4:30pm on Sunday, October 10th.
Conservation Through the Lives of Adirondack Loons
Join us Friday, January 29, at 6:30PM for Conservation Through the Lives of Adirondack Loons.
Dr. Nina Schoch, Executive Director of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation, will provide an overview of loon natural history and behavior, threats affecting loon populations, and the work of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation.

Brews & Tunes to Benefit Adirondack Loons
Join the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation at Raquette River Brewing Sunday, September 8, from 3-6 for an afternoon of beer and music to benefit Adirondack Loons. There will be loon games and trivia, a name the chick contest, and a raffle for a basket of Raquette River Beer. Bring in an ounce or more of lead fishing tackle and receive a free raffle ticket! A brief presentation on the “Unexpected Side of Adirondack Loons” will take place. Music will be provided by Peter Etka and Company.
