I took this photo while standing on the Grass River in Canton NY. My friends and I went outside to enjoy the nature and for a quick skate on the river. Usually rivers don't freeze very well because running water won't freeze but it had been so cold the past couple weeks that the river was frozen and we skated about a half mile down it because it was such a beautiful day and we wanted to check out the nature.
