Laurentian ADK Trail Work Day

Help build and maintain our local trails. Work site locations may include: Stone Valley, The Red Sandstone Trail, The Rock Climbing site at South Colton, and Mount Azure. Projects may include: building new section of trail, building a timber frame bridge, cutting new bench along side slopes, clearing brush, and picking up litter, and installing trail markers. Beginners and experienced trail workers alike are encouraged to help build and maintain our local trails. Difficulty level will depend on projects that you are involved in, some projects will be very strenuous, other projects such as installing trail markers are easy.

Boots, pants, and work gloves are recommended. Also bring water and food for the day. Meet at 8:00am at 224 Lenny Road. Contact: Mark Simon simonm@potsdam.edu or 267-3130. Levels vary Easy to Very Difficult.
