I was walking on the Canoe Trail near the St. Lawrence campus early in the morning and ran into this doe. I froze as soon as I noticed her, and she wasn't scared at all. She paused and looked around for a minute than just chilled for a while. Since she didn't seem concerned I pulled out my ipod and took some pictures. As a continued on my way she stepped out onto the trail and followed me a little way. I never encountered deer that bold in Vermont.
