Kate - I'm interested in knowing more about this sedge.   Did you take other pictures of it? Have you identified it?

Hi there! I'm so sorry, but I didn't see your post until now! I do have some other photos of the sedge, however they are all fairly similar. Are you looking for a certain part of the sedge to try identifying it? I'm sure Dr. Karl McKnight identified it, but I can't remember what he called it. Perhaps ask him?
