Kids Nature Camp
Kids 5 - 12 can learn all about nature doing fun activities during the summer break. Each day a new topic and activity is planned. This is an opportunity to get kids outdoors and active while learning something new about nature. New technology will be introduced and kids will get to learn STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Moonlight Ski & Snowshoe
The Friends of the Nature Center in Massena will hold a “Guided Snowshoe-n-Ski Event” at the Nature Center trails on Saturday, March 15th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The hike is for all ages and abilities. The trails are on gentle, rolling terrain and approximately 1.6 miles long. No experience necessary for snowshoeing, but cross-country skiers must be experienced. Bring your own equipment or rent for only $4 per package. Come 15 – 20 minutes early for rentals. Enjoy socializing after around the outdoor fire pit. Dress for weather. Meet at the trail head sign, 19 Robinson Bay Road.

Trail Walking Club
The Friends of the Nature Center at Robert Moses State Park, Inc. announce a monthly trail “Walking Club,” which meets on Saturday, October 5th from 1pm – 2pm. This program is sponsored by the Mind, Body, Soul – Come Alive grant, which is sponsored by the Alcoa Foundation. It is an opportunity for participants to join others in a healthy activity out on the Nature Center trails.
Intro to Reiki
You can learn the ancient healing art of Reiki. Join Reiki Master, Suzan McDermott, from 11am – 1pm as she leads this introductory class outdoors at the Nature Center. Suzan says that Reiki is technique anyone that can learn and students can find her regular programs at the Yoga Loft in Canton, NY. Yoga mats or chairs are provided, and pre-registration is required. Meet by the Nature Center trailhead.
Friends of the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center--Guided Bird Walk
Sunday, July 7th at 9am, start your day with a Guided Bird-Walk through the trails at the Massena Nature Center. Can you tell the difference between a Red-winged Blackbird and a Red-bellied Woodpecker? Discover which feathered-friends make their homes along the trails at the Robert Moses Nature Center. Binoculars will be available for use on the walk. Free event.
