Albino Bobcat

My husband kept telling me he had seen an albino bobcat around our house but it's so rare I didn't take him seriously until one night we noticed him just roaming the side yard just before dark. I was only able to get one picture of him before he was spooked.

That's not a bobcat. It's just a run of the mill white house cat that happens to be bobtailed. A real bobcat is not only significantly larger with longer, thicker legs relative to body size, the head shape is completely different with tufted ears & cheeks. This white cat you photographed was shy because domestic cats go feral very easily, & even house cats that are used to humans will typically avoid humans they don't know.

Here is a real albino bobcat for comparison:

The picture was taken from our living room window, I wasn't able to zoom in or open the window. That is why its fuzzy and would look smaller. The neighbors have seen it as well and have all agreed it's a bobcat. I wouldn't post a picture of a house cat.
